Ah Ah ! Ah Ah ! Très sixties : donc forcément très pop !
Difficile d'imaginer aujourd'hui que cette jolie voiturette bulle a eu beaucoup de succès et très probablement sauvé de la faillite BMW. A l'origine, c'est l'italien ISO, le premier a lancé pour la BMW Isetta la ligne de production en avril 1955 et dans les huit mois qui ont suivis ils en ont vendu plus de 10000. BMW a cessé la production en 1964, après que 161.728 ont été construites. L'Isetta était également connue sous le nom d' "oeuf roulant" !
Hard to imagine now that this cute bubble car was hugely successful and most probably saved BMW from bankruptcy. Originally the Italian ISO, the first Isetta rolled off BMW's production line in April 1955 and within eight months they sold over 10,000 of them. BMW ceased production 1964, after 161,728 had been built. The Isetta was known as 'the rolling egg'
